Matt Sodomsky: I think copy-prefixed-tags-to-metafields is very close to this request, but I'm thinking the request has to do with non-prefixed tags. For example, if a tag exists that simply says "preorder" without any prefix, can there be a task to add something to a metafield. That's what I was thinking of when I found this request.

Another way to think of it: "if a product is tagged with 'preorder', then add 'preorder' to X metafield".
