[Original title: When customizing packing slip templates using Mechanic, is it possible to have a button appear on the main orders screen of Shopify that will create packing slips for the orders I select?]
After looking online for more customized packing slip solutions on Shopify, I saw Isaac wrote this:
"Mechanic (apps.shopify.com/mechanic) is able to generate PDFs for any purpose, with any content, using any data available via the Shopify API. This includes metafields, and also fulfillment location information (which Order Printer doesn't have either, from what I understand)."
My question is if I went with Mechanic to customize a packing slip, can I have a button appear here that will create packing slips for the orders I select?

As I want to create barcode labels for my product and i don't want to pay or add extra apps to my store.
Is it possible to create pdf barcode labels from transfer tab

Muslim Boutique: You can do this using Order Printer: https://apps.shopify.com/order-printer. And this service can generate barcodes for you: https://barcode.tec-it.com/en
So you can use code like this in the Order Printer template to generate a barcode for that order #:
{{ order_name | replace: "#", "" | prepend: "<img src='https://barcode.tec-it.com/barcode.ashx?data=" | append: "&code=Code128&translate-esc=on' style='float: left; width: 100px;'>" }}

Muslim Boutique: This isn't possible, even when we complete this feature, because Shopify hasn't added bulk actions or admin links to the transfer tab.
