Customers can now start Mechanic workflows directly from your Shopify storefront.
Open
Forms
in Mechanic, choose a template or build your own, and add it through Shopify’s theme editor. Your theme supplies the styling.Forms support:
- Multiple steps, one question at a time, and conditional questions.
- File uploads, up to 3 MB total per submission.
- A full form or a button that opens it in place.
- Visibility rules based on the customer, page, or cart.
- Drafts, publishing controls, and a native theme-editor picker.
Each submission becomes a Mechanic event. Connect tasks to email your team, save answers and files, or send data to your ERP, OMS, CRM, or another API.
